Moonglade Haven is a jewelry artwork that fuses natural wonder with Eastern aesthetics. At its heart lies a unique natural opal, whose iridescent blues and greens are elegantly likened to moonlit lake waters. The designer employs the Japanese intangible cultural heritage technique of maki-e, delicately applying gold foil onto the opal to evoke the tranquil shimmer of moonlight on water. The overall form draws inspiration from the lattice window motifs of Jiangnan gardens, framing this “moonlit lake scene” as a picture within a window. More than a refined jewelry scent box, it is an artwork that encapsulates natural marvels and Eastern poetic sensibility—a sincere tribute by the designer to timeless beauty.
