Seashell mosaic columns, South American wooden floors, and fifteen-year-old wooden beams have been carefully preserved and integrated into the refreshed space. The design of Mingdu Qing Shui Wan centers on the concept of “serenity within the bustling, luxury within the mind.” It translates the Eastern wisdom of ‘finding great tranquility in the city’ into the spatial experience. “Serenity” is realized as a peaceful enclave amidst the urban bustle, where one can freely switch moods and retreat into calm at will. “Luxury” is not about material accumulation, but about the richness of experience crafted through meticulous details, material dialogues, and immersive storytelling. The design transforms this abstract philosophy into a touchable, immersive journey of seclusion.
