Overview:
This table tennis training center is dedicated to cultivating national-level athletes. In addition to providing a professional training environment that empowers athletes to achieve success, it employs a clear layered layout that integrates heritage elements with rehabilitation functions. The lounge areas boast warm wood tones to create a cozy and relaxing atmosphere, while the training areas integrate metal accents with clean, neat lines, reflecting a rational and orderly spatial rhythm.

Function:
The main training areas are located on the first and third floors. Red and black are the primary colors for mats in international table tennis tournaments. Adopting the same color scheme in the training areas enables athletes to become familiar with the competition environment through daily practice sessions. The third floor features red mats paired with wooden flooring, creating spatial layers that balance rationality and warmth.
The wood-toned exhibition area showcases trophies from past years and the development history of table tennis in Taiwan through glass display cabinets and a timeline wall. Wood finishes and lighting create a warm, human-centered atmosphere.

Innovation and Challenge:
At the entrance, a curved reception desk, crafted from a mix of materials, serves as the focal point. Paired with evenly diffused lighting, it creates a welcoming and friendly atmosphere, offsetting the cold feeling often associated with sports facilities. The feature wall brings a fresh touch of greenery to the space. It also enriches the spatial layering through contrasts of rough and smooth textures, as well as light and heavy materials, presenting a refined yet understated aesthetic. The green sofa echoes the greenery, helping to bring the natural outdoors in.
